Remembering Dick Clark

Dick Clark produced some great shows. I’ll always remember Where the Action Is and how excited I was when it first came out that summer. Through it, we got to know Paul Revere and the Raiders and I remember seeing The Young Rascals on that show for the first time. Another first for me was also one of the first concerts I ever attended. It was Dick Clark’s Cavalcade of Stars at Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara. I’ll never forget how I lined up to buy tickets for the show in the outdoor arena. Such a vivid memory because it was all so exciting. World Premier!

Lilimar's rocumentary, Makin’ It,  will celebrate its world premier at the Riverside International Film Festival 2012. Filmmakers John Ferry and Grace De Soto Ferry have been recently busy editing a new version of the BFB rocumentary. Changes to the film include changing the film title from The Band – A Rockumentary to the new title, Makin’ It.

The festival is hosted and organized by the City of Riverside and partnering organizations. The year 2012 will be the festival’s 10th year anniversary.
